hips like wheels
locomotion dance
gangly years.
Golden lamps (without genies)
happy meals
holding hands
bangs and heels.
Pizza Hut personal pans
Let’s Make a Deal
first cramps and crushes
hair, a pinwheel.
Take a chance
an awkward motion
in hot green shorts,
my Pre-Teen Locomotion.
