This Friday’s Flashback Track #42 asks listeners to share a song that describes how they currently feel. It’s been a week of to-dos. I took on some new tasks, and as the teaching time increases, I am left craving the quiet time to write bold (possibly bad) poetry, revise my novel “Fascination,” recline, and read Dune (my first time), or even drift into a soft slumber. So my song pick was simple, Rufus Wainright’s lovely motion video for “Alone Time.”
Fushia buds blossom,
fragrant reminders stillness

Lovely song, and poem, K. I know exactly how you feel. I actually left work early today to come home and just be. Stimulation high everywhere lately. Have a great weekend, my friend.

Thank you, Jeff. I hope your weekend is restful and rejuvenating. I think I’m starting to feel the release of the week’s tension. Cheers, friend.

You’re most welcome, K. Always. I’m glad the tension is releasing; I’m a little behind you there, yet will catch up tomorrow. Cheers, my friend.
