Flashback Friday

Postcard, believed to be from 1882

Last week’s Flashback Track #114 asked for listeners to share a song, piece of artwork, or poem that reminds them of weddings. I have to say, I can’t think of weddings without humming this tune.

I had the record growing up, and my sisters and I would play it over and over again. We’d sing, walk each other down the aisle and pick some spring flowers from the neighborhood garden beds to use in our bouquets (sorry old neighbors). Oh, if only we’d known then how dangerous a game love could be.

Be sure to check out this week’s flashback track and join me in ringing in the weekend!

Happy Friday!
