~After Jessica Winter
A sequence of steps,
physical bodies in motion
shadows reconnect.
It may be ballet or jazz,
our canon of action,
a breathy breakdance.
retro, folk or techno,
unexpected unison.
Its outcome a surprise.
Whether desired or despised,
real love is improvised.

where do you come across these interesting characters? I looked her up, watched the video: glad I did. She follows her own path; I like your rendition of the song: fully agreed: ‘real love is improvised’ π

Thank you, John. I like new music, so I listen to new music blogs on the way to and from work. She was a fun find this past week. Decided to put on her music and pick up a pen, it was as easy as that. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I agree, improvisation makes for the best romances.

Thank you. I am so glad. It’s my own little space to share my secret inspirations and break all the rules. I am glad you enjoy sailing by my yard sale, John. I’m lucky to have you as a fan. π

They’d better prep a full garden enclosure with its own pond π β€

Glad you enjoyed my previous story π hope it wasn’t too lengthy or overfilled with characters.

Definitely not too long. I think it’s one of those stories that might sit on the grill and a few things might slide off, but the end result is a delicious dinner. I love the idea of those milk maidens, and the entire setting is super compelling.π

Really thrilled it stood out for you! π I tried experimenting with a few different descriptions and worldbuilding, so if any passages resonated with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Well, of course, I loved the underwater imagery of the bar. The description of the manager and the dancers. I think that was my favorite part. You’re such a wise wordsmith. Not a syllable wasted, which I love. I liked the idea of untrustworthy partners, but I think some of the #411 could be stretched if it was a longer piece. Like a bit firehose-like in some areas. I prefer to sip these sorts of things…π
