PJ’s worn inside-out,
string bean forgiveness,
the teakettle whistles,
the engine revs.
Thanksgiving at home;
no helmets on a private road,
and even the dog has Alzheimer’s
‘cause old grudges are gone.
Tuk tuk magnets,
Bendicks Bittermints,
their frosty filling
a dose of warm.

44-words to warm up to (I look forward to snuggling with everyone’s after my night class)
A “dose of warm” can cure just about anything. Wonderful musical selection. Been forever since hearing that one.

Thank you. It has been too long for me as well I’m both the family time and the song. Hope your holiday was equally warming. 😁

You’re welcome, K. It was a wonderful time with my kids and baby granddaughter. She’s almost 2 now and is already getting really good at the word “no.” lol

It’s a favorite around here still. 😂 Oh, I love the littles. We don’t have any in the family right now.

They’re mint times ten, but so good. My sister brought them to share. We have a good time all together. Always a bit crazy, but it’s part of the fun.

Thank you, worms. It’s that special combination of my very own reality tv. Thanksgiving. You just can’t make these sorts of things up. I was so pleased to see you’d stopped by. I appreciate it.

Thank you, Kim. I had a wild ride this holiday, so it was fun to put a bit of it to pen and paper. I appreciate you stopping by. I’m still making my rounds through all the other warming verse.

Thank you kindly, Laura. It’s chaotic happiness, and it warms even more than an aperitif. I miss the madness already.

Thank you kindly, Sandy. It was a roller coaster ride, but you may be right. There’s something about feasting in the fall that should be treasured, and I’d say it’s worth the spreading of gratitude and awkward family memories to make a fall festival of some sort happen.

Thank you, John. I’d be squeezing for sure. This one gives me a warm glow this evening. I have to admit despite all my trepidation about the holiday, I had the very best of times with people I missed when away. Oh, but do tell all about your budding spring to keep us warm in this hemisphere.

Oh, you’re so lucky. The closed toe shoes and scarfs are torturous. Be sure to give sunshine updates for us all to bask in. 😉
