A Dose of Warm

ILLUSTRATION: EVA NARODITSKAYA

PJ’s worn inside-out,
string bean forgiveness,
the teakettle whistles,
the engine revs.
Thanksgiving at home;
no helmets on a private road,
and even the dog has Alzheimer’s
‘cause old grudges are gone.
Tuk tuk magnets,
Bendicks Bittermints,
their frosty filling
a dose of warm.

    • Thank you, worms. It’s that special combination of my very own reality tv. Thanksgiving. You just can’t make these sorts of things up. I was so pleased to see you’d stopped by. I appreciate it.

    • Thank you so much, Helen. It’s every word of it part of my holiday and it was great fun to try and share it in 44 words. I am grateful for your kind words. Happy holidays to you!
