Today in the U.S. we celebrate Veteran’s Day. So, to any of our listeners who have served in the military, thank you for your service.

Today’s news story features a band formed in part by Vietnam veteran, Joseph “Red Dog.” Disabled in the war, “Red Dog” used his disability checks to fund the Allman Brothers Band. But like lightning striking the same place twice, tragedy would strike the band in a most bizarre and coincidental manner.
