When life gets stressful and serious what happens to my haiku? They just get sillier and sillier. And okay, there’s a few serious ones this month, but so many of them serve as comic relief from the chaos that is my daily life. I do so hope you enjoy October’s crop of micro-poetry–the harvest is plentiful.

Let me know if one resonates with you.

Happy Thursday!

  2. Wonderful verses, K, especially this:
    Squawks on low tide rocks
    Lone seagull stalks the ramparts
    lookout for mob flock.

    Paints such a vivid scene! 🙂 ❤

  6. “Fall is reflection;
    follow the year’s shrinking trail
    without correction.” My fav. There is something about this time of year that demands reflection, and an understand that, up to this point, it’s all happened just as it was supposed to. Happy coming Friday, K.

    1. You get this one perfectly. 💜 Thank you for reading my monthly haiku crop. I never know what trend will emerge until I start piecing them together. The trail may be covered here, but I’m pretty sure I’m still on it.
