Without sun, the beach
— K.Hartless (@hartless_k) July 29, 2022
is in a bad mood,
silver #teared
night tide,
dolorous dunes,
hollow footprints,
craters,
resentment,
the cloudy abandonment
of the waning moon.
And the bright lights
of the sky wheel
do little to alleviate how the
the crabby coast feels. #vss365 pic.twitter.com/g6y5s4vmby
Some beautiful vivid imagery here, K – can picture the scene perfectly! β€

Thank you, Tom. I enjoyed a pier view watching the beach by day transform into the beach by night. My humble attempt to capture the transition.

Wonderful. I’ll keep baking on the beach, then.

Awesome verse, amazing pic, K. That ferris wheel is epic. Did you take a ride?

Thank you, Jeff. No, sadly I didn’t ride the sky wheel, but we did tackle a rickety old wooden coaster, a pinball museum (playable machines), and a log flume (this last one might have been instantly regrettable). Summer mischief, and indulging the inner child. It has been a fun-tastic week.

Such a lovely piece, to go with a lovely photograph. I am glad you were able to have fun on the beach. There is nothing like enjoying one self on the beach. You capture the moonless night beautifully in your verse. Blessings, Joni xoxoxo
