I’ve been filling my artist’s well with waterfalls, wine, and Niagra Falls history.
This week’s Showcase Saturday is inspired by my recent travels to Niagra Falls where I learned that approximately 5,001 souls have gone over Niagra Falls since 1851, some purposefully and others by accident. The first documented survivor of the plunge was school teacher Annie Ediston Taylor, who in 1901 went over the horseshoe falls in a custom-made oak and iron, padded barrel with her good-luck heart pillow.
