Reshaping the Canon

This Petite Pen was inspired by the painting “Cubista” by the talented bibliophile David Gista ~30 words or less. If her collection catches your eye, please join me in penning something about her presence. Be sure to ping back to this post so that we can all enjoy your imagings.

Happy Tuesday!

“Cubista.” Shared with permission of the artist, David Gista.

Reshaping the Cannon

Classic literature has crevices

partial glimpses of skin,

but to view true character

one must lean in.

So she readies her pen

to remedy the gaps

in her father’s collection.

      1. Thank you. In the same boat us two, then. I’d like to just let it all go …do people ever release novels into the air like doves?😂 Ah, well. Another day, another run-on sentence.
