Flashback Friday #68 asks us to share a song from our childhood. This record was my mother’s but I still have it as part of my current collection. It’s a super silly song that my sisters and I would put on and proceed to pound our chests and act out the whole drama around the house. I was Gitarzan (of course), my older sister was Jane, and my little sister was the giggly gorilla (monkey). This record sure got its fair share of spins during my childhood. What song/album was a part of your childhood?
I donβt remember this song but I can see why a child would repeat it. Big hug πβ€οΈπ

This is absolutely hilarious, K.Hartless! π π I’d probably be Jane! Though this is the first I’ve ever come across this song. My childhood was filled with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Aswad, Billy Ocean and the like. Thanks for the chuckle π

I think he is Ray Stevens, so talented! He sang the song “everything is beautiful” years ago.
