The Copper Scroll

As much as I resist schedules, I’m thinking Tuesday might be a lovely day to post a new Petite Pen. This painting by Vicente Romero Redondo captures the perfect summer moment. If this afternoon sunlit nap calls to you, join me in penning some tranquil brevity, 30 words or less. If you post to your own page, be sure to ping back here so we can bask in your glowing creation.

Happy Tuesday!

The Copper Scroll

That summer, his greatest win.

Light through trees, a treasure map

amidst a blanket of seas.

He knew he’d spend his lifetime

deciphering the clues

hidden on her coppery skin.

  1. I dream of cotton candy skies
    And love
    lingering in wispy nights
Where I first met truth, before
    We bid adieu
Though my love will always remain for you

Always so much fun. Your write was lovely, K. 💜
