Our bodies balance,
Yin and Yang,
interconnected
philosophies,
carnal chi
gnarled branches,
same tree.
Ecstatic energy.
Fingers flayed.
Legs splayed.
Only in combination
is a full circle made.
Curves,
a corporal parade.
Duality is required
for our unity.
Disaster, our doorway
to good fortune.
Illness, the slippery rocks
we scale to reach good health.
Falsity illuminates truth–
complement me,
and I’ll complete you.
Your shadow
on my sunny slope.
Two drops of sweat
swirled in heavenly hope.
