I’m doubly pleased today as I have two wonderful surprises to announce (plus a bonus third surprise at the end of this post.)
The first lovely bit of news is that my poem, “The Beach Aged Overnight,” was published today on MasticadoresUsa. I really love this poem. It speaks to the inevitable changes each of us experiences and how this process is reflected in the landscape around us, and so I would be most honored if you went to the site to read it.
Secondly, I have been wanting to announce that I have two poems that will be published in Wounds I Healed: The Poetry of Strong Women. The anthology is edited, and curated, by Gabriela Marie Milton, #1 Amazon Bestseller Author( author of Woman: Splendor and Sorrow :I Love Poems and Poetic Prose ; Passions: Love Poems and Other Writings) and published by Experiments in Fiction. The lovely cover art was created by Nick Reeves. I am so honored to have my work nested alongside so many other great female poets, and so I cannot wait to read this anthology and discover the treasures stored inside it, and I hope you’ll be compelled to purchase your own copy.

I want to say a huge thank you to Gabriela Marie Milton for creating this anthology to highlight the unspoken struggles and triumphs of women all around the world. I am honored to be a part of it.
And now for the last sweet surprise, as I went on my walk this morning in search of some beautiful blooms to inspire me, I realized that most of the color pop had passed. And like anyone in search of one particular thing, I found something entirely different:
Congratulations, K!
