Climb aboard my ship of clouds;
leave your luggage on the dock.
Set sail for sunset harmony.
Join our fluffy, favored flock.
The giant robin laid its egg.
The sky, its ever-swirling shell.
We’ll skate the surface gracefully;
a bucket in the maker’s well.
Lounge on my striated beak
as we glide o’er taffy seas;
the homemade candy coral reefs
exhale their oxygen as breeze.
Float past Rome, pastel city,
flowering buds tucked in rows.
Mountains guard the saplings in
the oldest garden ever sown.
Climb aboard my ship of clouds;
leave your lifestyle on the dock.
Set sail for dawn’s tranquility,
a favored member of the flock.

Wow, I love this piece!
The incipt “Climb aboard my ship of clouds; leave your luggage on the dock” is so evocative, it makes me think on a blue sky with very few clouds on a summer day.
Well done!
