West-Sussex Singer-Songwriter Tom Odell released a touching new single, “Best Day of My Life” along with the official music video, created by artist Sally Rooney.

“I guess the idea behind this one was from my experience of sadness,” Odell shares in a recent interview. “After you’ve been through a really hard time, there are these incredible peaks of euphoria, these moments of almost uncontrollable joy, which you’re almost suspicious of.”

Odell’s new song examines these highs and lows. As Odell’s first track as an independent artist after ending is a major record label deal in 2021, Odell shares, “I find that I write much better songs when I’m being honest, and writing about things that happen to me.”
