Modern-Day Sirens

Dear Readers,

Have I ever mentioned my love for new music? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Well, I’m excited to share with all of you that I have combined my musicophilia and my love of writing to create a series called Modern-Day Sirens to be published in the speculative fiction magazine, Luna Station Quarterly.

Each month, the series will feature an up-and-coming female artist, revealing lots of luscious details about their lives, music, and most importantly their message. If any of this is of interest to you, I would be oh-so honored if you visited LSQ and read my first article published today. It’s written about the truly courageous singer-songwriter, Joy Oladokun.

I’m super excited to see where this new avenue will take me. I’m open to all of your feedback on this journalistic piece and thank you for following along with me on my journey.

Warm regards,

K.

  1. Awesome! Thanks for introducing me to Joy. She sounds like an amazing person. I love the quote about how God couldn’t possibly give shit that she’s gay. What a cool series to embark on. Are you interviewing your subjects?

    • Thank you kindly, worms. Joy had a lengthy biography published on her website, but Iโ€™d love to interview some of these ladies. If not, I will find interviews, bios and what not to make an article. ๐Ÿ’œ I appreciate you reading my first article.
