The piles of spines spell my name, and keys pitter-patter steady spring rain, supple stories blossoming below white cliffs of conflict an inky blue-green sea, I dip my quill in its beauty, flexible as bellflowers, incandescent highlighters; there’s hope for this wanna-be paperback writer.

So beautiful:
“supple stories blossoming
below white cliffs of conflict
an inky blue-green sea”
I think you are indeed WELL on your way, with descriptions like these!
So glad. I know when I add the Beatles, it’s sort of impossible to hate it. Wonder if I can have the Beatles play during certain parts of my novel. Sure to improve the ratings. 💜
Thank you kindly, Hobbo. I can’t wait to see hear your reactions. I know you’ll tell it to me straight. I am thinking to have Beta readers by August next. If you’re really interested, I could send you an advance copy.

Thank you kindly, Ali. I saw the whitest cliffs on the Baltic Sea. They were so dramatic. I try to achieve those kinds of peaks in my own stories.

Indeed, Ingrid. Yes, it’s a part of you after a while. But the suffering doesn’t end, does it?

I don’t even know what a Beta reader is. I’m a better reader than Dauphy, but only marginally! 🤣🤣🤣

Well, it’s not the same thing as a Beta fish, I can tell you that. 😂 Oh, what a lovely idea. We’ll see if Dauphy gives it two paws up.

Thank you, Tom. Is trying to become a paperback writer a bit like trying to be a lamplighter or bowling pin setter? Has it become obsolete, I wonder?

Speaking from experience, I’d say as long as printed books stay popular, there’ll still be people writing them 😉
