What do you get when you cross a love letter from the universe, an algorithm of kindness transformed into an allegorical story of a robot consuming sadness and transforming it into a message of encouragement and love-the perfect Sunday track. Happy Sunday!

Whether or not there’s sunshine where you are in the world this Sunday, we hope you’ll enjoy a sunny track, and that it uplifts your spirit.
Canadian multi-instrumentalist Charles Spearin wrote the words and music to “Unsolicited Advice” as a raw, spontaneous, heartfelt letter to his two teenage children. After listening to it back, Spearen realized it was something larger – a letter to loved ones, a letter to his younger self, a love letter from Generation X to Generation Z; basically a letter to everyone who needs it. Initially, the song was not released but only passed around among close friends.

Love this – the Jared Sales animation is perfect and the words are all those things you want to say to your kids. Thank you for sharing K.

Thank you. I heard the song on one of my new music channels, and it moved me. To find Sales’ video was just this extra pot of gold. I’m glad it resonated with you.
