Laughing porcelain seas
a soft belly breeze
moist coffee clouds
filter a dirty night sky
a glass of champagne flowers
bloom lakeside
with polished, bubbly
perfume that tickles
the velvety-throated
shore, one muddy kiss more,
before collapsing
on the silty lake bed floor.
Tomikichiro Tokuriki – Biwa Lake at Night (in Blue)
That’s beautiful verse, K. Love it.

Thank you, my friend. Anytime I’m by the water, my muse seems to be happiest. Have a great day.

Same with me, K. I’ll be at the coast next week, the muse will be singing. You’re most welcome. Always. Thank you, and a lovely rest of your day/week to you too.

Oh, marvelous. Thank you, Hobbo. I’ll put the rest of the poem in a tumbler one day and try to get something magical to take shape. 🙂

There is nothing wrong with the rest! it’s just that first couplet that sets it off!

Gotcha. Like the traditional blue white? Ah well, it seemed right in the moment, delicate and reflective that porcelain sea. Thanks, John.
