chasing a racing pulse
cement wallower
a full stride repulse
Retrovert rejection
farewell akin to flight
the soul fattens from abjection
and naiveté lacks hindsight.
I lay down on the dotted line
cracked my childhood cocoon
connected two crushed valentines
and flew through love’s monsoon.
