Pokey LaFarge (born Andrew Heissler) is an American Blues musician, whose ragtime music infuses jazz and country influences. In April of 2011, he performed an NPR Tiny Desk three song mini-concert accompanied by the marvelous South City Three. LeFarge is a charismatic entertainer, and it’s easy to find the humor in his music. The blend of Appalachian-style instruments and infectious lyrics make this concert magical.
On January 22, 2020, LaFarge released a new album calledRock Bottom Rhapsody.
